CURRENT PROCUREMENT Home Documents & Data Announcements Calendar FAQs Renewables Links	Renewables ComEd has the responsibility to develop a renewable energy resource procurement plan as part of its supply plan for the June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009 delivery period. For the 2008 - 2009 delivery period, the goal of the renewable energy resource procurement plan is to procure cost effective renewable energy resources, up to the an amount of 796,040 MWh of Renewable Energy Credits ("RECs"), while satisfying the resource type, location and rate impact criteria specified in subsection 1-75(c) of the Public Utilities Act (added recently by Public Act 95-0481). On Wednesday, December 19, 2007, the Illinois Commerce Commission ("ICC") approved, with modifications, ComEd's procurement plan.
